Crafting Vicky

Well it's time for a new challenge over at  Delicious Doodles challenge  and this time around it's about all that is magical or myths.  I thought it was the perfect time to journal with the super detailed  The magician's crystal .  To me he just says Magician! So this being said I had to go with my favorite color of the moment purple my crushed grape dylusions spray.  I used some black homemade sprays as well.  The puzzle are stencils that I made and used some parts as mask as well. I found at the thrift store the strangest puzzle.... and I'm using one of the pieces here to journal and the spell card is also from the thrift store it was part of a little bag.  Love love love that stuff and thought it would be just PERFECT for journaling all sorts of magical things.

Well it's already time for a new challenge over at  The east wind  and this time around it's Patriotic.  That's a great time for it since it's the 1st of July here and Canada day. I do love Canada day....but I find it hard to use as inspiration because that's only red and white.... This time around however someone that I know had shared a picture of making a stamp out of twine and a wood block.  I thought I would give this a go and that's what I did for this background.  I think it turned out quite fun! I've also become quite fond of using project life cards!  and I found a set of dies from Quickutz called pocket scrap dies life.  That's how I did the sentiment on the left end side and the life at the bottom of the right page.  The sentiment was cut out from a book that I purchased in the special section of Homesense.  It had some awesome quotes that I figured I would be able to use and this one is about chaos which is appropriate with this backg

I'm back for one last post.  This one will have lots of pictures however.  It's a little album that I made using some paper bags for signatures and some cardboard box for the cover.  I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I made all kinds of sections and then had the 6 of us write on a little card what was our favorite things. So here's the cover I used a bunch of different tags and papers from my stash as well as from Simple stories.  Love those little sentiments and things. The letters are from October afternoon.  I used a little brad and ribbon as the closer. Here's the side view of all the signatures tied together.  As mentioned all the signature were done with some paper bags.  I used some metal beads as well.  Here's the backview of the album.  I used some paper that I wrinkled up and some old book pages as well.  Here's the look opened up.  The 1st section was about the favorite season.  I used a great digi from the set  Sn

Here's another really fast little post this time using the image from  From the heart stamps .  I figured this one would be awesome on my youngest son's b-day card.

Hello!  OH my god were did the month of June go?!?  It's already the 29th.... and I haven't posted some of my makes to make sure that I can get next month's image....  I have done the item... just having issues posting it lol So here are some fast little blog post just for that! I journaled the super sweet image Poppy from Anne's Digital Art.  I used a piece of design paper from a magazine and edged it.  I used some tattered angel sprays on the image and doodled all aroun.  I also used a great sentiment from Unity stamps that I think is very fitting for me.
