Rosey Hearts - New release - on the cutey side

Image
I was challenged from the wonderful Sandie Gough of our team to try to make some dark makes and some cute makes with the same images from the new release of  Rosey Hearts  you can go and check out the store here . So obviously you can find the cute makes on this blog and you will find my darker equivalent makes on my darker blog.  I'm pretty sure that not everybody will appreciate those... so didn't want to offend anyone.  And don't click if you are easily offended... they are not nice makes! well one isn't! I have decided to do some journal pages and start a new book as well. My 1st make is using Rainbow Unicorn.  And I have to say that before I saw the image I thought the challenge that Sandie was giving me was fair.... but after not so much... I mean how do you transform a unicorn into something dark?!? This page was done using some Juneberry wine and Mauve Chalk tattered Angel sprays.  I wrote on this and did the rainbow using my crayola chalks.  I used my

Karleigh Sue Challenge - Flowers option

Image
It's time for a new challenge over at  Karleigh sue challenge  and this time around it's with the option of using flowers.  Pretty easy when you consider that mother's day is just around the corner. Here's my make for my stepmom!  I thought she totally deserves a special recognition for Mother's day :)  This is a little card album and you can see how it's made in this fabulous video: I put inside it all kinds of little tags that we will be filling out with little words for her.

Faery Ink FB challenge - Make a scene

Image
There's no more blog challenge (but you can see lots of inspiration on the great Faery Ink blog ) however there's still the FB challenge if you want to come and participate!  And this time around the challenge is about scenery (so use a digi that has a scenery or make your own). For my make I used the great Mama owl love you forever . I had made a day scene in my journal and decided for this one to make a night scene!  I saw in a magazine how to make some northern lights using distress inks and I really really wanted to try it out.  So here is my try.  Obviously not as great as in the magazine but it was fun and I will try it out again.

For the back of my little album I used the great Gazania image. Here's the complete set just so you can drool :) I did a precolored image this time around because let's be honest the coloring is just so nice!

The East Wind - Flower challenge

Image
Hello!  Today will be a very busy day on my blog!  It's the 1st and that always means lots of new challenges and midway posts :)  My very 1st one is for the great  The East Wind  were you get a fab new image free every month just for being registered to the newsletter!!!  How fun and easy right?!? This time the freebie is Aurora Cabage Butterflies.  And she's just soooo cute!  I figured that I would do a cute little album for my friend's b-day using this.  It's a technique that you can find here in this cute little video I really find that they make some awesome cards/albums.  In this case I have included some tags that hold some recipes that we particularly love so that my friend can test them out :)
