For Jen's Blog hop click here . Hello everyone!  Didn't think I would be back right lol  A fourth post in one day! So this is my 1st time using some fabulous Digis from Digi stamps 4 joy.  I was really lucky yesterday to win an awesome giveaway from a fellow DT member Desire Fourie .  If you don't  know her work you really should check it out!  I aspire one day to be as good as she is... not sure that will happen lol I so wanted to play with those images that I decided to enter their challenge of back to school today.  Here's my card: To make this card I used paper from DCWV -The High school stack.  I used as well some buttons from my stash and ribbon.   Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored using my copics and I put some Faded jeans distress ink all around. Here's a look at the wonderful sentiment from TLC called Education is the movement.  I got it as part of the back to school mini club ;D  Love those clubs!  And I created for t

For Jen's blog hop click here. This week at  One stitch at a time challenge  our challenge is "use a digi".  And the DT are showcasing wonderful images from the Monthly collab that you can get free when you make purchases of  12$ at  It's really worth it!  You get some really wonderful images. This time around I'm showing a card made with a sentiment and an image from Reeces Scrap Pieces called Back 2 School. I didn't do much for this card because I really wanted to showcase the wonderful artwork so kept it CAS.  So I used some paper from a DCWV pack called The high school (fitting right?!?).  I used my spellbinder office supply for the 1st time and thought it really gave a create notebook look to the paper.  I added a little sticker from a dollar store pack. Here's a closer look at the sentiment that I colored using my Prismacolor pencils: And the backpack that I colored using my copics: I really hope that I have inspired y

Our wonderful sponsor this week is Crafty Ribbons. For this challenge I used one of the fabulous images that I won over at LEJ Designs this week (yes I have the joy of getting another beautiful badge for my blog :D)  It was really hard to choose which image to pick.  I finally made my choice and I get to use one today.  I'm using Soaking in the tub.  I thought this would be a perfect B-day card for a colleague of mine!  My 3 colors are brown, pink and grey. I have used the wonderful paper from First Edition - Sweet owl!  Totally love that paper!  I have used a lot of dies on here: Long classic rectangles, Label 21, Label 1 and Label 23.  I have added some Robin's Nest Dew drops. The wonderful digi is colored using copics and I used Liquid Pearl to make the bubbles. The 2 amazing sentiments that I'm u

Wooohooo!  How lucky am I!  I am now part of the wonderful DT team of  Gingerloft challenge !  I feel really blessed that I get to work with images from such talented artists. This time our challenge is called Birds of a feather. This is the card that I created: To make this card I used paper from My mind's eye - Dilly dally.  I used my new classic diamond spellbinder to cut out the digi and the paper underneath I purchased these for a steal at Winners :D  Canadian's equivalent of TG Maxx or Marshall's.  I have used Scallop and classic circle to cut out the sentiment that comes from Greeting Farms.  I added some feathers that I purchased at Omer De Serres.  The little star comes from the dollar store. Here's a closer look at the cute digi that I colored using my copics.  I did the clouds using my memento black ink. I hope that you will be joining us for this fun challenge at  Gingerloft challenge .  I can't wait
