Goodbye to summer

Image
Today as mentioned in my previous post I'm taking it easy :D  This means crafting and enjoying the pool probably for one of the last time.  We are having a wonderful day here in Montreal.  But I've been missing crafting for the fun of it. So even though it's beautiful out and it really doesn't look like summer is coming to an end I created a card with this in mind. As the followers of my blog know I just loooooove TLC sentiment.  And I decided to do a card to showcase one of her wonderful sentiment as the focus.  It was part of a digi from the club I was on. For this card I used some paper that I got on sale at Scrapbook Centrale a local store that I really really love.  It's from Little yellow Bicycle - Count your blessing.  I used my CM corner punch to round the edges. I also used my Grand Scallop circle and Splendid circles (for the 1st time) from Spellbinder.  I added some Robin's  Nest dew drops and some leaves (sorry took them out of the package

OSAAT - Challenge #128

Hello everyone!  This week at One stitch at a time challenge  our challenge is "use a digi"!!!  How easy is that?!? For those that Use a Stitchy Bear Stamp digi you could win the fabulous collection of images used by the DT!!!! In my case the image that was used was from Delicious Doodles and is called Peacock Feather. To make this colorful card I used some paper from my Basic Grey pack Lauderdale.  I also used some cardstock from Recollection.  The embossing folder that was used under the image is from Cuttlebug animal print collection, I thought this was perfect for this image.    I used Label 23, Standard circle and scallop circles from Spellbinders.  I really love using dies!  Don't  know what I was doing before I had so many... Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored using my copics: I thought this wonderful sentiment from TLC called All the colors would be perfect with it.  I used Distress ink faded jeans around it.  The little flowers

This week at  Paper make up stamps  our challenge is Tent-Topper. A big welcome to our guest designer  Rachel Fisher  and to our new DT member Ardilla . For this card I had to learn a new technique... I had never done Tent-Toppers.... but it was great fun once I got over my fear. I used Alora Collection from Bobunny to make this card.  And some CM cardstock.  I used my Classic circle and scalloped circles as dies to cut digi and sentiment.  I also added some Robin's Nest Dew drops. Here's a closer look at the digi colored with copics and used glazed to make the drop of water look like real water. I used a sentiment from Ginger house that I thought was just perfect for this image!!!  This is the 1st time that I use one of her sentiment but they are so wonderful. Here's a side view of my card.  I don't normally finish the inside of the card but I did so this time: I really hope that you will have like my card and will be inspired to
