This forthnight at Crafting when we can challenges  our sponsor is Some Odd girl. And our theme is Wedding Celebration.  I really don't make a lot of wedding cards... there doesn't seem to be as many weddings anymore in my entourage.  But I guess it's always useful to have them in your stash!  It was also very fun to make! For this card I chose to play with an image from Robert Jackson that I think is so very elegant.  It's called the bride and groom II  you can find it here . I paired it out with a sentiment that I thought was just perfect for this from Create with TLC . I really hope that you will be joining us this week at Crafting when we can challenges . My 2nd card is made with an image from Robert Jackson called a hard day's work.  It's definetely fitting for 2 reasons.  The 1st one because I did a lot of shopping while in the states... and the 2nd because today I'm going back to work :( For this card I used some paper from K& Cie and used some pearls from the dollar store.  The sentiment is

For my Digi darla blog hop please check here. Today I'm hosting the challenge!!! Woohooo! It was stressful lol, didn't want to mess up the text that I had to write. Our challenge today at Jacksons digital expressions is anything goes as usual and the twist is "a rose by any other name". This means to use any flowers that are not a rose in your creation. Now I don't know about you guys... but I just love putting flowers... actually I find it quite hard not to have flowers at all whether in paper or in embellishments. I'm sure that you will find it quite easy to do the twist this week! Here's my card: I used paper that I had in my stash already.  The wonderful digi is Lil Big Hug, I colored her up with my copics.  I just looove her smile.  It was the perfect digi to put with this wonderful sentiment from Dylusions by Dyan Reaveley.  I purchase that set of sentiment at Scrapbook Central at a sale.  So I added the sentiment inside a flower t

Happy birthday - Moma's + suga

I had a request from a co-worker to make a card for her mom's b-day.  This card is coming from her daughter Romane.  Yes the same for whom I made a b-day card and a father's day card ;)  This is a family affair!  I had also made a card gardener for her dad as well as a birthday card for her boyfriend.  Let's just say that I'm the closest hallmark to her ;)))  And of course I'm having a blast making these cards. I showed her some of my recent card and there was the one I made with  Robert Jackson  Moma's + suga.  It's such a wonderful image.  And of course my colleague loved it.  She wanted something bright with flowers since her mom loves that.  So I came up with this: As you can see I added lots of design paper and some robin's Dew drops.  I also made a flower with the flower blosom 1 from Nestabilities.  I made it out of pink foam.  I added some leaves from another nestabilities set that I embossed.  I cut the paper and the image with nestabilit
