Morning Goddess Carla - RSD

Hello everyone!!!!  It's time for a new inspiration post from me!  And I'm finally doing something new for my coffee book!  This time it's using a great digi from RSD called Morning goddess carla.

I used to love watching those as a child :)  yeah.... I was YOUNG!

I have made a little video of the process that I did for this make and you can find it on Youtube here
And here are the closer look at what I made.

Jammin Jayden - Art by Mi Ran

Hello everyone!  I'm here this month with all masculine makes!!!  I know right?!? (yeah same start from last post lol) but it's true!!! It's rare that I did Art by Mi Ran male pieces!!!

This is my very last post on the showcase!  I am leaving Art by Mi Ran.  Sad but at the same time I thought it was time.  Not sure that my stuff is up to all the fab work I see on here :)  I'm feeling that I'm totally fortunate to have been able to be here from the beginning and have been with this totally AMAZING group of artists!!!  And the most fabulous of them all is Mi Ran!  So sweet and generous with her time and advice.  LOVE HER and totally will be continuing to follow her and make stuff with her art.

Anyway enough before I start crying here.... My last make is a playful one for my little nephew's b-day that is coming up.  I thought that  Jammin Jayden would be perfect for him.
Digital Stamp - Jammin Jayden (ABM003), Digi Stamp, Coloring page, Printable Line art for Card and Craft Supply
I used a lot of left over papers that I had in my stash.

So I decided to make a little ATC and here it is
I sent it to Rick St-Dennis for his review!  He said that it was nice but he offered me a challenge... to make more using the same digi and making the digi 1/3 bigger everytime!  Now I'm always up for a challenge.... so here are my makes.  And of course when I thought about that challenge.... I just had to come up with a story not just put them random.

Here they are in order:

 The final one
And finally the set of them all.
I colored all of them with my copics.  The backgrounds were done with some gelatos and water and my fingers lol messy but so fun.  The stamping was done using a stamp from Paper Artsy.  I used some rhinestones from my stash.  The sentiment all but the 1st one was done by hand with a sharpie.

The East Wind Challenge - Dress up

Hello everyone!  It's time for a new challenge over at The East Wind and this time around it's about Dressing up!!!

I'm using the very cute little Baby Aurora Birthday princess.  I thought she would be PERFECT for my little niece b-day card. She is turning 4 this March.  Wow time sure goes by fast.

I didn't go with the typical colors... I found a great piece of Design paper in one of my Studio Calico paper pack.  I thought it would be the perfect base.  And it made for a very very bright card.

I had taken a class at Scrapbook Centrale (a local store) and used the left over paints that I had on a journal page.  This page was still pending in my journal.

Bella 90s heart - Faery Ink

Bella 90s heart is the perfect image for people that are my age.

Oh man did I give away how old I am?!?  lol I thought she was the candidate to make a birthday card for administrative assistant of my husband :)
I made her blond because his admin is blond and I wanted it to look like her.  But she would look fab in other hair color as well.
Bella 90s heart

The east wind - Friendship

Hello everyone!  It's February!!!  And this means a new challenge and freebie over at The East Wind.

This time the challenge is about Friendship.  And the super cute little image was JUST PERFECT for my new adventure I thought.  Back at the beginning of the year I mentioned that I wanted to try to make a little book about doing a scavenger alphabet book.  This image had a tree which in French is Arbre and Friends is in French Amis.

This made my very 1st page of my new book.  It's the book Supid white men that I am using for this.  I have used a die to make the tab for each alphabet letter.

I used my Neocolors to make the background.  The tree was colored with my copics and some crayola pencils.  The A is an alphabet sticker from Creative memories.
Here's a closer look at the image.
I'm entering this little mixed media make in the following challenges:

  1. Crafty catz weekly challenge - Kids
  2. Qkr stampede - one for kids - this is all about kids isn't it :)  I don't think we could go in the tree this way.

That's it for this post but there's still LOTS more coming up so sure hope that you will be back!
