A summer goodbye

Goodevening!!!  How was your day?  Mine was really good.  I didn't craft as much as I had thought... but it was a nice day spent with the family!

I'm here tonight to share with you a little card that I had so much intention to do way before.. but then again you know what happens... and life takes hold and I didn't do my card.  So today it was time.  And this is the great time because I can share over at Show-it-off-sunday from Create with TLC.  It's the time to share something crafty that you have done!

So this little card is the perfect thing to share since not only did I make it but I also used a great sentiment from Create with TLC.  That was actually the start of this card.  I was really stomped as to what I should do for the challenge over at Tiddly Inks.  It's about goodbye... and I didn't  need any goodbye card but then I came across this sentiment and figured this was perfect!!!  And I had an image that was a freebie from Tiddly Ink don't know if it still is...

I made this card with one of my smaller based kraft paper!  It's perfect to use with some left over papers and that's what I did here.  I used my Label 13, scallop and large circle from Spellbinder.  I added a little leaf bling that I had purchase last year at Michael.

Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics and to which I added some vintage distress ink.  The sentiment as mentioned is from Create with TLC.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

  1. Tiddly Ink - Saying goodbye
  2. Come and get it challenges - Fall color challenge
  3. Dream valley challenges - Autumn
  4. Pile it on challenge - Leaves
  5. Loves rubber stamps challenges - Fall colors
  6. Simon says stamp blog - Anything goes

That's it for me!  I'm off to do some commenting on some blogs ;o)  And then get to bed since tomorrow is a work day...

I'm having a giveaway to celebrate the fact that I have reached 400 followers!!! WOW so if you want to enter it's here: http://crafting-vicky.blogspot.ca/2013/09/400-followers-giveaway.html
