Halloween fun with Daisy doodle

Good evening everyone!  I made a bunch of DT cards today!  Trying to keep ahead... Don't like to be last minute because life happens... and sometimes I don't get as much craft time as I would like.

So my special treat for doing all this was to create something with the wonderful digis that I won at Daisy Doodle this past week.  I got some specifically to play again :D

So for this card I used Li'l Drac.  There's 2 digis that come with this set.  The coffin and the little Dracula.
I used paper from DCWV - Midnight spell and from Authentique - Glowing.  I used my grand circle and classic square from spellbinder.

I colored the digis with my copics and used black soot distress ink around the circle.

I also distress the edge of the sentiment that comes from... you guessed it Create with TLC  I added a button that I found at my local fabric store and a little charm that I thought was just perfect for this from my stash:

To make this card I followed this sketch:

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
  1. Daisy doodles creative challenges - One for the boys
  2. Sketch saturday - Sketch
  3. Delightful sketches - Color combination (purple, orange and green)
  4. Sentimental Sundays - Recipe 3-2-1 (3 design paper, 2 digis, 1 charm)
  5. Sweet n sassy digis - Hip to be square
So this is it for me for tonight!  It's off to bed I go!  With the antibiotics I now feel better!  So big week of work ahead for me :D  But then long weekend in perspective next week since we celebrate Thanksgiving in Canada!!!!

Hugs and goodnight!

For this card I used My mind's eye paper - Lime twist.  I used my EK border punch for the little holes that reminded me of water.  The digi was cut using Label 19.  The ribbon is from the dollar store and the charm from my stash.

The sky was done with Broken china distress ink.  The water was done with my distress ink pen Stormy sky.  The rest of the digi was done with my copics.

I paired this cute digi with this awesome sentiment from Create with TLC.  I thought this was perfect for this image to wish a happy birthday.

Crafting When we Can - Challenge # 28

This week at Crafting when we can challenges we are sponsored by the wonderful
Fresh Brewed Designs

And our challenge for you is a sketch!  I will be putting the sketch at the bottom of this post.

So for my card I used the digi Fairy Sweet from Freshed Brewed design.

For this card I used some paper from BoBunny - Alora.  I used a ribbon from the dollar store.  The little metal flowers and corner piece is also from the dollar store.  The brad that is holding the cute little charm comes from Eyelet Outlet.

I used my copics to color the image and added some stickles to the wings of the fairy.  The image and sentiment were distressed with Festive Berries distress inks.

The sentiment is one from Create with TLC.  I thought it was just perfect for this sweet image:

Here's the sketch that you have to follow this week:

Gingerloft Challenge - In Stitches - Faux or real

This week at Gingerloft challenge it's all about Stiching.  Real or faux.

Well... I haven't used my sewing machine for real sewing with fabric in forever!  What I've been using it with is for cards.  And this is one that was definitively worth it.

For this card I used the wonderful digi from Gingerloft called Panda Lunch.  I did nothing to the image beside a bit of distress ink because it's so fabulous.
For this card I used paper from Basic Grey - from the Olive collection.  I use also for the flourish MS paper punch pad where there was the wonderful kraft paper.  The die is from Memory box, it's called whimsical flourish.  I used my Tim Holtz distresser on all the paper to distress the card.

Here's a closer look at the digi to which I added vintage photo distress ink:
The sentiment is from Create with TLC and I thought it was perfect for this card.

Here's a closer look at the digi.  I colored it using my copics.  I also used festive berries distress ink around the digi.

Dutch Dare Challenge - Challenge #184

This week at Dutch dare card challenges our wonderful sponsor for the week is
 The Stamping Boutique

For this challenge you have to make a CAS card!

For this challenge I got to work with the fabulous image Caroling Snowmen from The Stamping Boutique!  What  wonderful Christmas image.

I used the paper from Basic Grey - Nordic Holiday.  I also used some shiny paper from The immortal Love.  I used scalloped and standard circle dies from Spellbinder.

I didn't know how dangerous card making was until I made this card.... I wanted to use my MS snowflake punch to cut out some snowflakes out of some felt... well... I broke the punch and ended up punching my finger!  Big time hole in my middle finger!  Blood everywhere and no more punch...   Luckily for me I had a spellbinder snowflake border.  I used the snowflakes from that to finish off the card when I had finally gotten the blood mess under control... yikes... dangerous activity crafting lol :D

I added some Robin's  Nest Dew drops on top of the snowflakes.

Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored with my copics.  I added some stickles to the snow and snowmen as well as the lamp and the star.  It doesn't show all the sparkles in the picture but it's really sparkly!

And here's a look at the sentiment from Create with TLC.

I really hope you will be inspired to join us this week for our CAS challenge at Dutch dare card challenges.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

This week at Digi Makeover challenge we have a favorite of yours!!!  ANYTHING GOES!  That should mean that their will be lots of entries this week.

For my card, I decided to make a get well card.  I just love using the little monsters from Paper Make up stamps, they are so adorable.  So here's my card using BooBoo:

To make this card I used some paper from Basic Grey - Olive paper pack.  I used lots of fun dies : Label 1, Scalloped Label 1, gromet tag all from Spellbinder.  The flourish was made using Dee's Distinctively - Flourish #3 the paper was from Martha Steward punch pad.  The ribbon was purchased at Omer De Serres.

Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored using my copics.  The edge was done with Peeled paint distress ink.  I used glossy accent to make the tears.

And here's a look at the sentiment that I used a wonderful sentiment from Create with TLC.  It reminded me of when my kids were small and a kiss and hug could make it all better... yeah... they no longer believe that... The tag is held with some brads and I added a little charm that I thought was perfect for a get well card.  You still have time to enter my giveaway!  It ends on Thursday.
